Hi, I'm Lux, and I'm a PhD student looking for flatmates to make a home with! Only women, nonbinary, and trans folks are welcome to apply. Fellow queers are especially welcome!
The flat is well-furnished, supplied, and lived-in with love <3
This 12 m² private bedroom is furnished with a full bed including blackout curtains, four large underbed drawers, two nightstands, a large wardrobe, and two RGB smart spotlights. It is suitable for one or two people.
This is the west bedroom. If you're interested in a smaller offering, the adjacent east bedroom may be available -- check out my other listing!
When it comes to the roommate agreement, my non-negotiables are:
- Unrelated men are not permitted as overnight guests. Visits from fathers, brothers etc. are okay. No boyfriends or husbands. Rare exceptions are permissible.
- The common areas must return to their clean state each night.
For most everything else I'm flexible to agreement on :)
I feel a little spoiled by the location -- within a three-minute (or less) walk are ICA Nära, Systembolaget, Kronans pharmacy, a West Asian grocer, multiple gyms, Handelsbanken, a bike shop, two salons, and a handful of restaurants. A little further is the new Rosendal Library, culture center, and some lovely cafes. Rosendal is a _marvel_ of urban planning. That's not even mentioning the forests (my loves!!), with Stadsskogen, Kronparkens nature reserve, and the Gula stigen a similarly short walk away.
It is very easy to commute by foot or bicycle to Ängströmlaboratoriet, BMC, SLU, and surrounding areas. The apartment is well-connected to the bus network with the Rosendalsvägen and Rosendals torg stops nearby served by lines 1, 3, and 11. It is also easy to walk or transfer to the Regementsvägens stop which is further served by lines 4, 8, and 12. Stick around long enough, and we'll also be served by the tram line ;)
The common area is a spacious 57 m² with lots of cozy lounging potential. Some amenities of note:
- (Brand new) In-unit washer and dryer
- (Brand new) Dishwasher
- TWO toilets
- Air conditioning in the common area
- A spacious and nap-worthy balcony
And some things of my own, which are open to common use:
- Robot vacuum cleaner
- An Apple TV home theater system
- Full-RGB smart lights across the whole common area, controllable with the Philips Hue app (they don't call me Lux for nothing)
- Blender, coffee grinder, toaster, bubbler, and misc. kitchen gadgets
Rent includes heating but not water, electricity, or internet. These utilities vary month-to-month, but you can expect to pay roughly 600-900 kr for them each month depending on the season.
For residents of the Uppsala-Stockholm area, an in-person viewing and interview are required. For all others, a viewing and interview over Zoom will suffice!Visa mer
